남침례회(SBC)는 1845년에 설립된 미국 최대의 개신교 교단입니다.
‘남침례회’라는 명칭은 역사적 배경에서 유래했지만, 오늘날 SBC는 미국 전역과 전 세계에서 활발한 선교 사역을 감당하고 있습니다.

조직과 운영

SBC는 중앙에서 교회를 직접 통제하는 구조가 아니라, 공통의 선교 사명을 위해 자발적으로 협력하는 교회들의 연합체입니다.

The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), founded in 1845, is the largest Protestant denomination in the United States. Although the name “Southern Baptist” originated from a historical context, today the SBC carries out extensive missionary work throughout the United States and around the world.

Organization and Mission

The SBC is not a centrally governed or hierarchical body. Rather, it is a cooperative fellowship of autonomous churches that partner together for a common mission.

Cooperative Program

Through the Cooperative Program, local churches contribute a portion of their offerings to support domestic and international missions, theological education, church planting, and various ministry efforts.
